New, reworked and enlarged upgrade Set III for the Tamiya Sherman
The set contains 19 nickel silver parts, one block polystyrene parts and one steel spring.
Detailed contents of the set:
- 4 small handles for the driver, radio operator's and commander's hatch and the back door. All these handles are missing in the Tamiya Kit!
- 2 large handles for the engine cover, these handles are only implied on the Tamiya kit.
- Turret MG mount, as a replacement for the kit parts D10 and D8. New detailed part with weldings and serial number.
- Turret MG barrel mount as a replacement for kit part D18
- Bracket as a replacement for kit part D19
- Turret back brackets as a replacement for kit parts A17 and A18. This part has pins for better assembly.
- Rear turret MG mount. This part is missing in the Tamiya kit!
- 2 lifting clamps for the gun mantlet. This part is missing in the Tamiya kit!
- 2 lifting clamps for the turret rear sides. These parts are missing in the Tamiya kit.
- 1 lifting clamp for the mid turret. The one in the kit is too small and not thick enough.
- Polystyrene block with 50 milled mounts which have to be placed around the gun mantlet. The mounts have to be cut out and glued on. For attaching a canvas cover between gun mantlet and turret, very nice detailing which is a must for every Sherman.
- Aerial base with spring, full moveable! The lower part of the aerial base would be screwed into turret (M3 nut is needed and not included in the set).
