Engine air intake cover for Tiger I mid & late Production
Air intake Cover mid & late Production, for Tamiya and Heng Long Tiger I in 1:16 scale. The cover is made from resin and replaces Tamyia kit part B7 when building a mid or late production Tiger I (after October 1943).
New version - open on both sides (front and aft) like the original part.
Historical Background:
The Feifel-Prefilter System was discontinued during October 1943. The air intake cover with the brackets for the hoses was replaced by an elevated plate. The mounting plates for the Feifel System were still welded onto the hull top and back until December 1943.
